I can’t believe it that I didn’t checked Happy Cow good enough to find out that Rome has a whole vegan ice cream shop!! Luckily I had still a free day left as I was teaching nearly every day yoga and stretching classes 😅
This place is not only awesome because it has only vegan ice cream, but of its special way to produce it!! It’s all made of olive oil!! And as I am the biggest olive oil lover this place was heaven for me!!
Of course the different tastes are not all olive oil flavored! Actually you’ll taste nothing of olive oil in it! But it makes such a creamy consistence for flavores like Lolla Nonna, which is like Nutella, peanut or steccialtella!
It took me a quite while to choose my flavors because there where a lot i never tried before, like white wine, red wine, black sesame and and and 🙂🙃🙂
So I decided for Goji, green tea, Lolla Nonna and coconut! Later I got to taste a bit of the olive oil ice cream and it was sooo delicious only with a really soft taste of olive oil! For me it could even have been more 😜
But that’s still not all! They have ice cream on a stick and a few different cakes, made of olive oil base as well 😍😍😍
I don’t have to mention that I had to take also an ice cream on a stick 😅
This by far is my favorite ice cream place in Rome and I can’t wait to come back to taste a lot more of all these, I guess over 30, different flavored 😆😆😆

After an incredible vegan experience in Verona, I still was surprised to find vegan food in an amusement park at Lake Garda!! And not only accidentally vegan items but real conscious chosen vegan dishes with an extra remark on their food flyer!
I mean to find vegan stuff like sugar apples, vegan ice cream like sorbet or Granita, fried nuts, fruits etc etc, is not that difficult everywhere!
But finding healthy and delicious vegan food I didn’t expected in an amusement park in Italy 😅
Called the vegan kiosk or Sultan Kiosk, there is a spot in the Arabic area which makes delicious vegan food! There where 3 menus to choose of and now the best!!! Three different desserts! And guess what it was! Two different vegan cheesecakes and on vegan chocolate cake!!! I couldn’t be more happy 😍 Continue reading Gardaland – Italy
I nearly missed my night bus back to Germany for going to this restaurant and I have to say it was totally worth running with all my luggage to the bus station like crazy!!
This raw vegan and gluten free restaurant has so many good things on the menu that already deciding took me way too long for the little time I had! But with the help of their nice staff I decided for a quinoa dish and raw tiramisu as dessert. And actually this tiramisu was one of the best ones I ever ate!! I’d love to have the recipe for this!! I just love Italian food! Now I had the chance to visit Verona for the first time!! The first place I checked was the whole vegan organic restaurant La Lanterna!
They have all typical Italian dishes like pizza, pasta and antipasti, but also special ones like pasta al cacao !! Of course I had ti take this one 😉 Continue reading La Lanterna – Verona
A place full of cats and good food which you shouldn’t miss in Rome!! I came there in the afternoon so I couldn’t get the full lunch menu anymore. But they still had Quiche and a lot of cakes! I really had an excellent raw food cake!! You can also have smoothies, juices, salads and coffees.
And the best thing, you can hang out with all the cats who are relaxing in every corner of this place. Or read a cat book in the cosy little second floor!
Don’t miss this place when you are in Rome!! Find it:
Via Francesco Negri, 15, Rome
After eating too heavy too fatty and surely too much in these days in Napoli it felt sooooo good to dine at this vegan and vegetarian organic restaurant!
Most of the menu is vegan and you’ll find a lot of different healthy and tasty things!
The kitchen is organic, macrobiotic, Mediterranean and international.
To taste a little bit if everything I would recommend Il piatto unico (mixed big plate) of course in vegan version 😉
One wall is full of organic cookies, tea and fresh vegetables. So you even can do your shopping if you missed it over the day!
Find it in:
Vico S. Pietro a Majella 6
Near metro station Dante
And watch their homepage for opening times:
Pizzeria da Michele is one of the three original pizza places over 100 years old in Naples! They only have two different pizzas one vegetarian, margarita, and a vegan one. But you won’t want more because the vegan one is soooooo delicious and already the small one is quiet big 😉
Also the price is absolute affordable!
For me definitely the perfect place for the first evening in Naples!!
Find it in:
Via Cesare Sersale 1
Near metro Porta Nolana
A new vegan place to eat in Rome 🙂 !! And it’s actually the first vegan fast food chain with shops in different italian cities like Milan, Verona, Turin and Rome 🙂
With their philosophy of respecting all animals and nonviolence for all life, they use only natural products, strictly vegan products of course, and give also importance to regional products.
You’ll find there bagels, burger, focaccia, sandwiches, hotdogs, vegan kebab, Piadina which is there called Veghina and is filled with various things! One of my favourites, directly after the Saitan Tonnato, which is something like a tuna sandwich, is the Veghina chocolate !!!
There are 2 shops in Rome, on in Trastevere, in Piazza di Santa, Rufina 6 , and one in Campo de’Fioro at Piazza del Patadiso 18.
For the other cities watch out:
While my last time in Tuscany I found a really nice vegetarian and also vegan friendly restaurant in Florence. It’s in the near of the station and you eat in a cozy room which looks like a cozy living room full of books.
We had the vegan plate with soy Sausages, cauliflower cream and other yummy stuff, a vegan burger and a mouthwatering chocolate cake, which we even get as a present at the end of the meal 🙂
The exact address is: Via degli Orti Oricellari 6, Florence
This vegetarian restaurant has a really beautiful interior! Sitting there you feel like in a big comfortable living room for its cosy atmosphere and a big shelve full of books and DVDs. The food is quiet good, I had an amazing starter of raw artichoke and hummus followed of fried ravioli and almond sorbet as dessert. As a vegan these were the only things out of the menu, because nearly all of the rest was made with egg and much with cheese, so its not that vegan friendly, but as long there is a vegan dessert for me I’m happy!
Its located in Via Prenestina, 396e
