First time on a vegan mission in Köln and the first vegan restaurant I found was directly super nice!!
Actually I only was looking for some small snack before going to sleep, like a dessert, but as I saw the big Buffett with too many tasty looking things, I just had to try this!! And of course the dessert!! 😜
The Buffett is changing and has a variety of different things to taste like sushi, antipasti, cheese salad, lentils, fried vegetables, chili sin carne, lasagne, soup, German dishes like Knödel, bread and aioli. You can choose between doing one plate for around 10 euro or all you can eat for 16 euro!! As I am a big fan of brunches, already this was heaven for me, but of course the food was super tasty too! Had two non vegan friends with me and if they like it too it’s always a good sign 😉
I had a nice talk with the owner of this place and she told me that they do sometimes theme weeks with typical food from Africa or Austria for example! And in future there will be soon a Sunday’s brunch! Guess I have to come more often to Cologne 😅
Besides the every evening buffet you can order from the menu. There are a lot of different things to order. Maybe next time I’m going for a Schnitzel! But for dessert defiantly tiramisu again!!! One of the best I had for sure!!
Find it near Köln main station in
Hamburger Straße 2a
So here we are, hungry vegan food hunters tracking down a colorful flyer promise of non profit, 100% vegan food that we found hanging on the blackboard of our favorite of all yoga studios: Jivamukti. Arrived in Hackney with roaring stomachs we don’t get disapointed of the menu – no we are in sheer delight of all the variety that is offered here! There is so much that we want to try, so we decide to take three main menus and starters and share them between us. Whilst we eagerly eye the cakes on the counter we know It will take a looong time until we leave this place and we get comfortable with a Hot Chocolate topped with marshmallows.
While we are waiting for our orders we explore the shop and find lots of bargains like a lovely Jutebeutel for 5 Pounds and a pizza cheese for 1.50. You can find snacks, chocolate bars, faux meat and cheese, vegan household items and there is also a lot of interesting books about Veganism, Vegan cookery books or also anarchy literature. Everything is really cheap, of course because it is a non profit shop. Yeah!
The Main dishes are all really tasty and we feel that everything is homemade and fresh. We find out that we all three think that the Seitan Sandwich tastes outstanding good and we like the Lentil Pie with Mashed potato and Kale. The Burger is of course amazing as well. Its the first time for us to try a sausage baked in a bread roll and we wonder how this could happen?!
We can’t behave and order our cakes and brownies with whipped cream and large scoops of ice cream and have an amazing munch on the end of an amazing munch! Life is good with places like these! We are grateful to have found such an affordable, graceful, pleasure bringing institution and plan a return as soon as we can. meoooow!
The first all vegan spot in my hometown Kassel opened! That’s great and I’m really sure soon more will follow!! Cafe Potpourri is a vegan cafe which serves many different cakes, coffee, hot chocolate and also different dishes for lunch time! There is also a little corner with books all about vegan subjects! There is a big outdoor area where you can sit nicely on warmer days. So if you are around in Kassel and have cake cravings this is the place to be!! 🙂 It’s in Pestalozzistraße 10, near to Bebelplatz
Its really time to introduce now one of the best places to have a nice dinner in Berlin! The restaurant Kopps serves hundred percent vegan, healthy and also absolutely delicious food in Berlin Mitte.
You can eat there a lot of nice typical German dishes and all from Cordon-bleu to calamari fries and not to forget mouthwatering desserts!
At the weekend there is also a big brunch which I especially like! There I had the pleassure to eat my first vegan “Hackepeter” which is really typical german !
It’s a great place for having a nice lunch or dinner or to just take a drink at the weekend with maybe even listening to a Dj playing there.
You find it in Linienstraße 94, next to metro station Rosenthaler Platz…
If you are from Berlin you will for sure know this place, if you come to visit Berlin don’t miss the chance to eat there!!
Sünne on playtime

I’m just sitting in the ‘Veggi Garden’ another great vegan restaurant in Barcelona.
It’s only 8 euro for the menu of the day and you can choose between different starters and main dishes and you get also a dessert, water or wine and bread!
For I’m a big fan of Momos I also ordered this as well as a tasty almond milkshake with mango papaya and grapefruit.
It’s a great place with extraordinary paintings on all walls!
It’s not far from Plaça Cataluña, in Carrer dels Angels 3
Only 2 hours after eating there, I had to go back to take a milkshake 😉
