Vegan Christmas dinner – Ragout fin / Braten / dessert

How to survive Christmas when you are the only one vegan 🎄😅🌱⭐️

Actually it’s quite easy!! Just cook everything in a vegan version! This Christmas I kept it really simple with cooking and was surprised that the result was so good!!

Vegan Ragout fin

Incredients:

•vegetable broth •soy sauce •mushrooms •tofu •white wine •soy cream •capers •pepper

After cooking a bit vegetable broth I just mixed all the ingredients in a pot and cooked all for a while. I’m really sure there is a more professional and order to add the ingredients but with only 20 minutes preparing it just came out perfect 🙂

Roast soy meat

I prepared this exactly like the ragout fin but with red instead of white wine, without capers and with half tofu and half vegan kebab, because there wasn’t much more in the supermarket 😅

Like before I just mixed everything together and everything was ready in less than half hour!

Pears with cranberries

Fry pears in vegan butter and fill it with cranberries… ready!!

just make sure that red cabbage and croquettes are vegan and ready is the Christmas dinner!!

Dessert

This years dessert was ice cream with whipped cream and vegan decoration super easy, besides the cream not so unhealthy and yummy 🎄🍦❄️⛄️😍

Now looking forward to what will be created for nye dinner 😍

Vegan yes – London

Walking through Bricklane in London and passing by this place, i just had to go inside even with having breakfast right before 😋

<

and it actually was more than worth it!! The kitchen is a Korean Italian fusion 😍 a lot of fermented and super healthy things to eat there!!

I had a kimchi soup with coal bread which was super delicious and kept me warm again after freezing outside a bit 🔥

And I tried FINALLY the first time butterflypea tea and got with it homemade focaccia baked with curcuma and homemade Nutella 😍😍😍

And of course I had to take a Mochi as well! Mochi is a rise ball filled with a cream of beans. But this ones are even surrounded with chocolate 😱

This really was the best one I ever ate 😍😍😍 the chocolate around makes it so perfect!

There is so much more to explore, which I definitely will do when I come back to London!! 💘 on my list for next time is the kimchi lasagne, Naples kimchi bibimbap and for sure more of the homemade Nutella and Mochis 💃💃💃

Cupcake Berlin

It took a while and was long planned but finally I made it to post about a very special place for me here in Berlin !! Cupcake Berlin 💘

When I came to Berlin this place was the first one, I ate consciously something which was 100 percent vegan! Of course I ate a lot of vegan things before without thinking about it, but never something delicious like one of these cupcakes, which were at this time not so easy to find vegan! At this time I still was vegetarian but with eating this cupcake and seeing that I still could eat everything, one of the first steps to a vegan diet was made!! Continue reading “Cupcake Berlin”

Vegan recap 2016 -restaurants, cooking and vegan holidays

It’s the end of the year and we are looking back to a lot of vegan places, we had the chance to visit, vegan food we ate in restaurants, got delivered or cooked by ourselves and many beautiful human beings we met while exploring the vegan world 🌱🌍

There is not much to say, looking at all the pictures we made, we are feeling just grateful for all places we saw, people we met and seeing that there are actually so many people out there who really care about this planet and all live on it! Thank you to everyone from all our heart!!! ❤️

So the year started with eating vegan Cupcake in Amsterdam at Cafe Vegabond

Sixty Degrees

That’s the thing with Berlin: there is such a huge amount of ever expanding vegan discoveries to be explored that it’s difficult to keep up with it all sometimes.

That’s why we are quite happy if people get in touch with us about suggestions, letting us know about new vegan spots or new vegan dishes on the menu.

This is how we found out about Sixty Degrees, who are a vegetarian coffee shop, serving speciality coffee, breakfasts, lunch, sandwiches, smoothies, cakes and a lovely typical Berliner atmosphere with a book exchange corner and changing art exibitions.   Continue reading “Sixty Degrees”

Gardaland – Italy

After an incredible vegan experience in Verona, I still was surprised to find vegan food in an amusement park at Lake Garda!! And not only accidentally vegan items but real conscious chosen vegan dishes with an extra remark on their food flyer!

I mean to find vegan stuff like sugar apples, vegan ice cream like sorbet or Granita, fried nuts, fruits etc etc, is not that difficult everywhere!

But finding healthy and delicious vegan food I didn’t expected in an amusement park in Italy 😅

Called the vegan kiosk or Sultan Kiosk, there is a spot in the Arabic area which makes delicious vegan food! There where 3 menus to choose of and now the best!!! Three different desserts! And guess what it was! Two different vegan cheesecakes and on vegan chocolate cake!!! I couldn’t be more happy 😍 Continue reading “Gardaland – Italy”

La Lanterna – Verona
